TOSAQ presents Music on Sundays with Tony Fenelon.
Witness Australia’s leading cinema organists Tony Fenelon on Sunday 1 June 2025, Kelvin Grove. Tony will present an entertaining programme of music from the movies, stage, light classics on our magnificent Christie Cinema Pipe Organ and Grand Piano.
Tony’s program promises an afternoon of extraordinary variety—duets for piano and Christie, an imaginative version of Bach’s Fugue À la Gigue featuring orchestral voices and straight organ, a Gershwin tribute, works by Leroy Anderson and Buddy Cole, and musical memories of Barbra Streisand and John Farnham. You’ll also hear piano classics, including Schumann’s Dedication. A concert rich in contrast, colour, and artistry—don’t miss it!
In 2014, Tony was inducted into the prestigious American Theatre Organ Society’s ‘Hall of Fame’ recognising his contribution to this genre.
TOSAQ will present ‘Music on Sundays with Tony Fenelon’ concert event in comfortable cabaret style seating with projection of the performance on screens from multiple cameras bringing the audience closer to the action. Enjoy a complimentary drink (wine or fruit punch) on arrival and afternoon tea at interval.
